George Cambero

George leads Agua Link with nearly 50 years of experience in water management, George brings a wealth of operational expertise and leadership to Agua Link Solutions, Inc. His extensive background includes managing and operating D5-level water systems comprising over 80 reservoirs and 70 booster stations. He holds a Water Distribution Grade 4 and Water Treatment Grade 3 certification from the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB), reflecting his strong technical knowledge and regulatory expertise.

 

George has served as an Interim Utility Manager and has been a trusted consultant to our clients for the past eight years. His work has consistently focused on delivering reliable operations, regulatory compliance, and strategic oversight. During his tenure at Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD), he was responsible for tracking and reporting water production and sales across groundwater, surface water, imported, and non-potable sources.

In addition to overseeing Capital Improvement Projects totaling more than $5 million, George also managed energy rate programs and implemented cost-saving initiatives in partnership with Southern California Edison.

Beyond his professional achievements, George is deeply committed to public service. He has served as a Planning Commissioner for his local city, a role that reflects his belief in giving back to the community and contributing to thoughtful, sustainable development. His dedication to both the industry and the people it serves makes him an invaluable part of the Agua Link team.
